Dr. Edwin L. Holland, DDS
Dr. Holland has been setting the highest standards of excellence in dentistry since 1970! He earned his AB degree from Western Maryland College in Westminster and his dental degree from Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. An esteemed member of the dental community, Dr. Holland practiced dentistry for two years in the US Air Force Dental Corps, and is a lifetime member in the Florida Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Outside the office, he enjoys giving back to his community by participating with community events and groups such as the local Chamber of Commerce, Tourist Development Council, Salvation Army, church board, little league and more. In his spare time, Dr. Holland enjoys traveling, photography and spending time with his wife, Vickery, and their two sons, Michael and Steven.
Dr. Edgar L. Pichardo, DMD
Dr. Pichardo has been delivering the highest quality dental care to the patients of his community for nearly 15 years. He received his Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, and Dental Degree from the University of Florida at Gainesville and is an active member in many top dental organizations, such as the Florida Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the West Coast Dental Society, and the Hernando County Dental Association. Dr. Pichardo has attended the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, the Academy of Comprehensive Aesthetics, and the L. D. Pankey Institute. He also gives back to his community and abroad by participating in mission trips through the Christian Dental Society with the University of Florida, Earthquake Relief through Coprodeli USA, the Metropolitan Ministry Free Dental Care to Underprivileged in Citrus County, and the Mobile Dental Bus. In his spare time he enjoys all sports, and spending time with his family and friends.
Dr. Eric W. Rustemier, DMD
Dr. Rustemier was raised in Alachua, Florida. He attended the University of West Florida in Pensacola where he received a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Biology. After graduating magnum cum laude and scoring in the top 99.9% on the Dental Admissions Test, he relocated to Louisville, Kentucky where he attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and graduated with honors in 2018. Upon graduation, Dr. Rustemier received the prestigious Dawson Scholar Award, which is awarded to two dental students in the country per year in recognition of commitment and achievement in clinical comprehensive dentistry and TMD. Dr. Rustemier is an avid pursuer of knowledge and has received extra training in implants, oral surgery, and full mouth reconstruction. He is a Fellow of the Implant Pathway, Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and an alumnus of the Dawson Academy. Dr. Rustemier worked in private practice in Seattle for one year before realizing he’d been away from Florida long enough and that it was time to return home. Dr. Rustemier is very happy to be back in Central Florida and to be reconnected with his small-town roots. In his spare time, Dr. Rustemier enjoys fishing, scuba diving, spearfishing, and kayaking. He is also a lover of music, and enjoys playing instruments and writing songs.
Brenda has been employed at Citrus Dental for 30 years. She received her Dental Hygiene degree from Macon Junior College in Macon, Georgia. She enjoys working with her patients in helping them obtain and maintain optimal oral health. Brenda’s interests outside the office include spending time with her husband and family, including her five grandchildren. She also enjoys snow skiing, hiking, camping, reading and volunteering at her church.
Cami has 30 years’ experience in dental hygiene. She has degrees from the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene and Northeastern University, both in Boston. She moved to Florida in 1991 and has been with Citrus Dental since 1992. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and is gratified in knowing she has made a positive contribution to their oral health. Outside of the office, she is passionate about equestrian sports and enjoys competing.
Christine has been a hygienist for ten years. She joined the Citrus Dental team in June of 2013. Originally from upstate New York, she is married and enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and playing guitar. Christine enjoys helping her patients and educating them about their dental care.
Jeani has been a certified dental assistant for 28 years, and most of those years have been spent at Citrus Dental. “I feel close to my patients, who have been coming here for years, and enjoy seeing them and helping them to attain their dental health goals. I enjoy working in a friendly office of caring professionals.” Jeani also enjoys spending time with her husband of 36 years and traveling to visit their two adult children and four wonderful grandchildren as much as possible. She loves the beach, travel, and getting together with friends and family.
Jen, Office Manager
Jennifer has been in the dental health field for 24 years and has been at Citrus Dental as Dr. Pichardo’s assistant since 2009. She has worked five years as an oral surgery assistant, two years as insurance and billing coordinator, and the remaining years as a dental assistant. Jennifer and her family have lived in Citrus County for eleven years. She enjoys fishing, boating, DIY projects, and spending time with her family.
Felicia joined our team in October of 2014. She has worked 2 years as a CNA and has been a dental assistant for 3 years. She was born and raised in Citrus County, and is married and has a little daughter. She enjoys taking care of people. Staying fit, kayaking locally, and spending time with her family and friends. What she enjoys most about her work is the continuous learning, meeting and educating new patients about dental care, and working alongside the doctors and other team members.
Caryn, our newest addition to the Citrus Dental staff, has been a dental assistant locally for over twenty years. She is the mother of four girls and enjoys fishing, boating, and being outdoors.
Beth joined Citrus Dental in 1991, and loves talking to our patients, many of whom she has known for over 20 years. She is the familiar face at the front desk who makes everyone feel at ease.
Beth met her husband Jonathan while traveling in Europe, and lived in Sweden for over 10 years. Their three sons, Ian, Christian, and Andre, were born there before the family relocated to Beth’s home state of Florida. In her free time Beth enjoys caring for her five horses, six border collies, gardening, and home improvement projects.
Marita is the newest member of our team, joining in May of 2015. She previously lived and worked in New Jersey, and currently resides in Crystal River. Marita loves to read and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
